Who we are

OlympiadZone (olympiadzone.in) is an online Olympiad practice service for school students in Classes 3 to 8.

What we collect

• The student’s name and class, entered when signing up.
• An email address and password for logging in. Passwords are stored in encrypted form and we can’t see them.
• A mobile number, only if you choose to give one.
• If you sign up with Google or Facebook, we receive the name and email address on that account. We don’t receive your password, and we don’t post anything to your account.
• Practice results: tests taken, answers given, scores and time taken.

Why we collect it

• To let the student log in and keep their progress.
• To show scores, explanations and the revision list.
• To show the right questions and live classes for the student’s class.
• To contact you about the account, for example to reset a password.

We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t show advertising based on it.

Children’s information

OlympiadZone is used by children. A parent or guardian should create the account, or agree to their child creating one. Parents can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete their child’s information.

Where it is stored

Account information and results are stored securely with our database provider, Supabase. The website is hosted by Netlify. These providers process data on our behalf to run the service.

How long we keep it

We keep account information for as long as the account is active. Students can clear their practice results at any time from My account. To delete an account completely, contact us.

Deleting your data

To delete an account and all its information, email us from the address on the account (or message us on WhatsApp) with the student’s name and login. We delete the account and its results within 30 days and confirm when it’s done. If you signed up with Facebook, you can also remove OlympiadZone from your Facebook settings under Apps and websites.
